Hey Diosas!

I bet you’ve heard of Joshua Tree, located in Southern California and known for a magical and restful getaway. It’s a location where you can look up and see the stars so clearly that it will leave you breathless.

You could also enjoy a quick road trip to the desert. Whatever the case, this is a fun and healing place for you, your bae, or a girl’s getaway!

In today’s blog post, I want to share a few tidbits about what I did on my girl’s getaway and how it can help you plan your next-day trip or weekend.

Where To Stay

When it comes to accommodations, Joshua Tree caters to all preferences. Are you a fan of camping, or do you prefer the unique charm of an Airbnb? You may be a camper, ready to bring your home on wheels. Whatever your choice, Joshua Tree has the perfect spot for you.

  • Camping—tent, consider staying in the park. They have bathrooms, fire pits, and tables for those who prefer to be in nature and wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise surrounded by Joshua trees.
  • Glampers are campers or those who have dreamy airstreams. There’s a glamp vibe between the camp and the hotel, right? The same goes for all the park amenities.
  • Airbnb-  A cute place with all the Joshua Tree vibes. Check out the fun and quirky options for this fun place. My bestie found a cozy and adorable place for us.

Where To Eat

We were so close to restaurants and shops that we tried a few places for breakfast/ brunch ( and loved them). Of course, I took pictures of the food and shared them on my Instagram stories!

  • CROSSROADS CAFE-  nothing fancy here, but good food and serves mimosa, wine, etc. Expect to wait; they are busy, but it was worth it.
  • JT Country Kitchen is a trendy place with the biggest crowd, and it lured us in. The wait could have been better, but the food again did not disappoint; try not to go hangry, and you should be fine!

What To Do In Joshua Tree

First, I am a planner and wanted to do a few things with my bestie, but Mother Earth had other plans. We got rained on, lessening our time in the National Park, but we still spent some time in nature. We checked out a gift shop and a yoga retreat. If you get better weather, here are a few recommendations I had in my original itinerary

  • Skull Rock
  • Cholla Cactus
  • Scenic Drive
  • Spring Only- Wildflowers
  • Watch a Sunset Or Sunrise

Where to shop was just as convenient as I mentioned earlier around the restaurant row. We found some while we were waiting to be seated. Check out these.

  • Sun Of The Desert- the cutest jewelry my bestie bought us, matching rings, which I will always treasure!

  • Coyote Corner- Great for souvenirs and last-minute shopping!
  • Joshua Tree Farmers Market- I highly recommend checking them out; they have the cutest stuff around!
  • Vintage Ricochet Wears—This was on our list, but we did not make it there. It will be there another time!

Other places to check out for those photo spots in your feed!

  • Art Queen
  • Noah Purifoy Outdoor Desert Art Museum
  • The Station
  • Pioneertown

This should serve you as a helpful resource for your next weekend trip. I had a blast with my best friend of over 20 years; that is a gift, and we make memories together.

As a busy career Woman, Wife, and Mom, this was a special weekend for our friendship and ourselves. If you enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments, and don’t forget to subscribe. Subscribing supports my blog and sends you my latest blog post directly to your inbox.
