As we approach the end of September, it is essential to talk about self-practices and how to build ourselves up. Especially in hard times. I say this because I have recently hit some bumps where I started talking to myself poorly. I decided to write about the importance of building ourselves, and I want to start with how to incorporate daily self-confidence habits.

Diosa

Let’s touch on the meaning of diosa for those who may not be familiar. According to the Urban Dictionary, diosa is the Spanish word for Latin goddess. I chose diosa for this little space of mine for many reasons. Still, the most important is the celebration of femininity, beauty, power, and divinity that I see in all women, including myself.

In today’s post, I share seven daily self-confidence habits that can transform you. You must first decide to implement new practices to build your confidence and self-practices to shift into a positive mindset. Start taking action to become your best version of yourself, diosa!

Daily Self-Confidence Habits

#1 Wake up and practice affirmations:

Start your morning and day by practicing positive words and reciting them to yourself quietly or out loud. Here are some that you can start with:

  • I AM BEAUTIFUL
  • I AM ENOUGH
  • I AM STRONG
  • I AM INTELLIGENT
  • I AM CAPABLE
  • I LOVE MYSELF
  • I AM LOVED

#2 Meditation or Move your Body or both

Could you incorporate regular meditation and exercise into your routine? Meditation helps calm your mind and reduce self-doubt, while exercise releases endorphins, making you feel more positive and self-assured.

#3 Journaling

Keep a journal to track your thoughts and feelings. Writing down your achievements, no matter how small can help you recognize your strengths and build confidence over time.

#4 Visualize Yourself as a self-confident Goddess

Spend time visualizing yourself as a confident woman. Imagine scenarios where you handle challenges with ease and grace. Visualization can make these scenarios more attainable.

#5 Self-Acceptance

Embrace your strengths and weaknesses. Acknowledge that nobody is perfect, and it’s okay to have areas for improvement. Accepting yourself as you are is a crucial step toward self-confidence.

#6 Self Compassion

Be kind to yourself. Avoid self-criticism and negative self-talk. Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding you would offer a friend in a similar situation.

#7 Try Something New

Step out of your comfort zone and try new things. Taking on challenges, even small ones, and succeeding can boost confidence. It shows you that you are capable of growth and adaptation.

Diosa, remember that building self-confidence is a journey that may take time. Be patient with yourself and consistently practice these tips to see positive changes in your self-esteem and self-assurance.

Love,

Tanya
